We here at Composite Retail Group realise that it’s not always possible to fit a square peg into a round hole and not all trade groups or buying groups are the same.

We have recognised that furniture retailing today is a very competitive and demanding environment, with local and international suppliers and retailers all trying to grab a slice of the market.

Composite have over the past five years carved a niche in the market place for the independent retailer who is looking for the best possible return on their investment when it comes to sourcing furniture internationally and locally.

We have a growing membership base of stores trading in the mid to better end of the market who have pitched themselves well away from the cut throat discount end that has become the bane of our lives.

With in excess of 30 retail frontages we are starting to build a network of like minded stores spread between the two Islands, all keen to improve their bottom line through their ability to buy and source product directly from our international and local supplier base.

We are not in the business of warehousing stock, we leave that to the experts, nor do we allocate stock on a pro rata basis but what we are, is completely transparent when it comes to invoicing for cost of goods, with no hidden mark ups or margins ensuring there are no surprises.

Suppliers

Suppliers

We have supplier agreements in place with leading New Zealand based manufactures and wholesalers offering our member stores preferential terms of trade and discounts many of our competitors are envious of.

Over the past five years the group has built up a sound international supplier base that affords our member stores with an opportunity to improve Gross Profit and Margins.

Trade Shows and International Events

Trade Shows and International Events

We actively promote the idea that our members travel to international trade fairs. This gives our stores the jump on competitors when it comes to the latest trends and designs.

Not only that, we’ll even contribute to your travel and accommodation and throw in the networking with like minded retailers for nothing.

The next scheduled travel is to the Furniture Fairs in China in September 2017.
