REGISTRATION:
Originally this Expo was staged exclusively for Composite Retail Group members, now the Expo has grown to meet the needs of all footwear retailers throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. A nominal registration charge for Non-Composite Members applies. To attend please fill in the official registration form and information page by the ’official cut off’ date. You will be listed in the ’Suppliers Appointment Diary’ that is provided to Exhibiting Suppliers, so it is very important we have your correct details by the ’cut off’.
APPOINTMENT DIARY:
Approximately 2 weeks after the official cut off date, registered retailers will be sent out the ’Retailers Appointment diary’, this important book lists all Suppliers registered to exhibit at the Expo. This information tool will aid in the process of contacting Suppliers to make viewing appointments.
LATE REGISTRATIONS:
Registrations will be accepted up to 1 week prior to the Expo, but will not appear in the Appointment Diary due to printing time restraints.
SETUP:
Unlike many international trade shows our Suppliers display in Hotel suites rather than booths, like having ’mini showrooms’ allowing for both an ’open door’ policy to give new retailers a chance to view and ’closed door’ for appointments, allowing privacy to write up orders and process the business side of things.
FORMAT:
The Expo officially runs for 5 full days (Saturday – Wednesday) from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. Upon arriving Retailers pick up an ’Expo Pack’ containing an ’Appointment Diary’ listing the Suppliers exhibiting and their details. Registered retailers are able to access the exhibiting floors (usually 8 or more floors) and while appointments are not always necessary they are recommended. Having so many suppliers under one roof at one time makes it much easier for retailers to buy for the coming season.
